looking for Zouve unit...Help

Hello,
I am new to this forum , and need some help.I looking for any Zouave units in the New England area.I have done Rev War reenacting , and am looking to do Civil War.Please any information on active units will be Greatly appreciated.

Tom,

At this point in time I know of no Zouave units in New England. There is one small "Chassuer" (sp?) unit in Mass. which calls itself the Salem Light Infantry and focuses mostly on the different period bayonet drills for living history display. You'd be best off joining a traditional infantry outfit anyway for a lot of reasons.
