Will anybody be attending the opening of the Monitor Center in VA March 7-9th. I am bringing a group of federals from the Erie area down and was wondering if anyone else was attending?

Yes, I will most certainly be there. A group of at least 13 from the USNLP is attending, in addition to a crew from the Tidewater Marine Living History Association. Further information is available from the Mariner's Museum. We are PSYCHED! Oh, excuse me...we look forward in anticipation.

It's not March 7, 8 & 9 but March 9, 10 & 11. As long as you show up that weekend the dates don't matter.

Have not been across the river to take a look since last year but from what I hear you won't believe your eyes.

I might be there and if I'm not I will be going to Bedford's officers school.
