  • Preservation Shirts still for sale

    Friends -
One of the things that hit the crapper with our old site going down for the count was the so-called T-shirt preservation project. We still have shirts to sell and money to give to CWPT. I've been pretty busy trying to get the site fully functional but I don't want this project to languish any longer.

If you're interested in helping to support this site and Civil War Preservation, please consider purchasing one or more of these shirts.

These are first-come, first serve. While supplies last.

    Availability updated 3/27/4:
    Serene Green Tee Shirts
    2/Small

    Sports Grey Long Sleeve Tees
    1/Small 1/Med 1/Large 4/XL 3/XXL

    Navy Sweats
    3/Large 3/XL 1/XXL
The Short Sleeve is green (for preservation) and has a embroidered left chest with "authentic-campaigner.com"; stacked rifles; and a CWPT color logo. One sleeve has a C.J. Daley logo and the other a Skillet licker logo (the two sponsors who helped defray the cost in order to get this going.) The back of the shirt has an attractive color design describing our commitment to historical preservation.

The Long Sleeve is grey and has the same printing as the Short Sleeve.

The Sweat Shirt is dark blue. The front left chest is embroidered with www.authentic-campaigner.com and stacked rifles. There are no markings on the sleeve and the only thing appearing on the back is the CWPT color embroidery logo which is up underneath the collar, sort of in the manner of where Tiger Woods wears his Nike logo on his sweatshirts. (We couldnt put all the other stuff on a sweat shirt.) This is a very attractive sweatshirt and perfect for cooler months.

I've got some photos around of the Short and Long sleeves and will get those posted. Unfortunately my digital camera decided to give me fits and I've not been able to get a picture up of the sweat shirt.

Incidentally, the money we've generated for CWPT is as of this date, $390 and its sitting in my PayPal account.

If you wish to order one of these shirts please either PayPal me the money (to pcalloway@authentic-campaigner.com) and include your desired size; design and ship to information or send me a check or money order to "Paul Calloway; 4620 Maple Terrace Parkway; Fort Wayne, Indiana 46835"

All shirts will be shipped directly from Combinations Screen Printing & Embroidery to you. The cost of $25; $30 and $35 includes freight, preservation donation, etc.

I'll plan to update this thread and this post with accurate counts and sizes available until the shirts are either all sold or all put out on consignment with retail shops and sutlers.

I appreciate all who've purchased shirts thus far.

Incidentally, if you intend to use Money Order or Personal Check, please do email and let me know "the checks in the mail" and what size of shirt and style of shirt you intend to purchase. In that manner, I'll put shirts on hold here in this thread and won't oversell a particular size or style.

Thanks for posting this Paul. C'mon y'all. Here is a great opportunity for you to not only look good, but do something good for our history. Paul has a lot of money tied up in these shirts. He is also trying to keep this website going. If you've benefited from anything here, why not put your money where your mouth is and buy a shirt?

The sweatshirts are sweeeeet! They are navy blue "Lee" 9 ounce 50% cotton and 50% polyester heavyweight pill-free fleece. They have the distinctive "authentic-campaigner" logo with the rifle stack on the left chest and the small CWPT logo on the back just under the collar. I am trying to get a picture with the digital camera made to post here. My computer has been acting whacky and making downloads difficult. If you wear a sweatshirt, you'll love this one. Not only will it make you look good, but you'll help save a patch of land too. Not just any land, but on an American Civil War battlefield.

If you haven't bought any of these shirts yet, then all I can say is NOW IS THE TIME!

We'll ship them as soon as Paul says to ship 'em.

        Folks,

I owned the short sleeve and long sleeve version of this shirt and have worn them a lot. They have stood up great to all washing. I was in Harper's Ferry this past weekend, sporting the long sleeve and people looked at me like I knew what I was doing there. (Either that or I had lunch remnants on my face).

This is a chance for you to help save battlefield land AND get something tangible with it.

Yes, let me know if you have any interest in these. I'd like to get these sold - I've already paid for them (sent Mark a check a couple days ago) so we need to move them.

                Preservation goes to Kuwait!

I just received my preservation t-shirt in a care package today. It looks great, and it goes well with tan! Seriously folks, buy 'em up, they are worth every penny!
                Thanks Paul!

Looks like we have three of those so you should be in good shape. PayPal is fine, just remember to include your full shipping address (not a PO Box).

I just sent a check to CWPT on behalf of the AC in the amount of $435.00 as result of this preservation project. We still have some 16 shirts to sell which would amount to another $80.

More information on this can be found in the Civil War Preservation folder.
