    How would I find what an original pair of suspender buckles might be worth.
    they are in great shape and are dated to the 1850's I would have to look at the date on them, they would work great for making into a great pair of suspenders with original buckles, they were picked up from the peach tree creek battlefield.
    they are brass.

    I've picked them up in relic shops for about 25 or 50 cents. I've bought original ones that were dated (and usable) for about the same. Try e-bay, they are only worth what the market will bear.

      I have a bag full, would gestimate 100 I would sell the whole lot for $10 plus shipping if anyone is interested!!!
