Recruiting on the AC

Right now we're not set up to provide for recruiting on the AC. It's a nightmare to moderate due to the competing interests of various groups and where they want to place themselves on the authenticity scale vs where their competition would like to place them.

Until we come up with something that we think we can moderate, and treat people equitably, we'd really apprecite it if the recruiting posts would "just not happen".

If someone posts that they are looking for a group, just PM or email them please.

We will try to come up with something soon but again it comes down to whether we can moderate it or not.

My favorite quote about those scales of relative authenticity:

"There are only 12 authentic reenactors in America, and you'll never get any of them to agree on who the other 11 are..." :D
