Looking for a group..

I am a 19, soon to be 20 college student at The George Washington University in downtown D.C.

I have never been reenacting before, due to lack of anything serious near where I grew up, but I have lurked these forums for four years or so, and now I am ready to take the plunge.

I suffered a knee injury which will preclude me from service in our armed forces, so with that no longer an option to eat up my summers in school I would like to get involved reenacting.

I would prefer Federal Infantry or Artillery (Can't afford a horse!), but if there is nothing local to my area I am open..

Bare in mind, that I do live in D.C!

You may want to check out the 1st Minnesota as well we are part of the Potomac Legion. Majority of our members are in DC. pm me if you would like more info.
