Help!! What happened to the old USAMHI database? Used to be I could find a list, by unit, of photos for a particular regiment. Now, the site seems to only link onto those photos that are digitalized. I'm going to assume that I am the moron here and am outsmarted by the new website they have. I'd be most appreciative if some kind and forbearing soul could help reeducate me into the nuances of the new site so I can locate photos like in the "good old days." From a befuddled Bob,

I found that but it dosen't get me thru to the database I was looking for. I've also found a link to the old photo database, but it's not searchable. I'll keep playing around with it and maybe have some luck. Many thanks for your help and interest.Bob Williams

Bob,
Bill shot you our newly updated website address. If it's your first time to the new site, it certainly can be a little daunting to figure out...especially if you were used to th old site. The new online database link is located in the bottom right corner of the homepage, and is entitled: "MHI Research Catalog." From there you can search digitized photos, documents, artifacts, etc. and the old bibliographies and databases. I believe the MOLLUS photo database is on there, but I'm not sure if it's searchable. If you don't mind giving me a day, I can do some checking for you, since I'm on the committee that is developing the new digital database system you were trying to find. Many thanks Kaleb and Bill. As I said I have found the old database, which includes the MOLLUS collection, but searching it seems to be another matter. I have used the past collection to get photographs to illustrate a number of articles for "Military Images" and other publications so would hate to lose this most valuable resource to "progress."
