    Is it true a good number of Columbus Depot level jackets were used in the eastern Theatre.

    Eric

    I went and did some research on the "Columbus Depot" in Virginia.

    I was directed to an article written by Jeffery Waldon {Confederate "Columbus Depot" Jackets, Material Evidence }

    In the article He talks about the Columbus Depot in the East. I was told (trying to find evidence) that several thousand Columbus Depot Jackets were shipped East in 1864. If someone know where to find this let me know I would apperciate it.

        The website has been around for almost 10 years. Just do a "google" search for columbus depot and I think it is the first site that appears.
        After reading this site, check out the sites and books by Les Jensen.

        hope this helps,
