Re: How Many Battlefields Have You Slept On?
Here are some Battlefields that I have slept on. (Plus some other Civil War related places)
Atlanta (Very near the spot where General McPherson was killed. East Atlanta LH)
Cedar Creek
Rich Mountain
Bulloch Hall
Pickett’s Mill
Kennesaw Mountain
Big Shanty (now the City of Kennesaw)
Perryville
Athens, Mo.
Chickamauga
Ft. Pulaski
Port Gibson
Shiloh
Ft. McAllister
Savannah (in my buddy’s apartment was near the Reb trenches circling the city)
Andersonville
Williamsburg (near the area where McClellan’s siege guns were set up)
Resaca
Olustee
Shaker Village
Nashville, Travelers Rest (Also my grandparents place is right off of Hillsboro Pike where the Federals advanced to storm Shy’s Hill. Some of my aunts live near/on Montgomery Hill as well so I guess I’ll count that.)
Soon I can add Vicksburg and finally.....
THE BATTLE OF THE HORSE PARK!!!!!!! (joking!)
