I wish my French was not so rudimentary---I'd really like to know this gal's story.

In related news, I stopped by Confederate Memorial Park in Marbury, Alabama, in order to see the museum when it didn't have several hundred visitors.

One item I'd missed in the cases was a smashed bugle with a stake driven through its heart. While I've certainly had that idea on some occassions myself, this piece was left behind as Federal troops fled an area, along with other disabled weaponry.
