This is mentioned quite a few times in posts about bizzare documentation. I am going to throw this out cause we all like trivial stuff.
I don't think those are jaguar. I believe they are made from a longhorn. My friend is running longhorns on his land. There are a couple that have that exact same pattern on thier hides.
I looked at those cattle and went, ah hah. It makes much more sense now.
It also shows that maybe everything we read in modern text isn't always the given truth.
