This is a great article and I would love to see the exhibit. Personally, I feel she was a vicitim of the press. She had a great number of tragedies in such a short amount of enough.

A VERY tragic figure, the Davis' lost one of their children to a fall from a balconey in Richmond during the war, near to the time that Tad Lincoln died,
Truely death stalked many a family during those years and the Lincolns were not immune..open season for rivers of tears perhaps the sadest decade in our history?...I surely look for none sadder! was she 'crazy'? who wouldnt be?
Long before the term "PTSD" Im sure many a vetran may have never been the same again aswell
