Enigma No. 4

I am composed of 14 letters.
My 1, 8, 5, 11, 12 is a great city.
“ 13, 14, 7, 9 is a product of the soil.
“ 6, 8, 9 is a useful article in July.
“ 6, 7, 2, 4 is “easy, familiar, frank, and generous”.
“ 12, 11, 9, 13, 2, 5, 4 is “plain, true, and incorrupt”.
“ 10, 7, 2, 8, 3, 14, 5 is one whom all should worship.
“ 10, 8, 9 is a useful article.
“ 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 2 is a great empire.
“ 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 is the name of one of the Apostles.
“ 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 is the name of one of the most famous French Kings, who flourished in 1515.
The two last contain all but two letters of my name, which is that of a hero of the old Revolutionary War.
