Amen, I spent the last ten years in one uniform or another. All of you out there beit in law enforcement or emergency services or in the Armed Services have a safe and uneventful holiday season and may you get through your shift quickly and get back to your families.

        Ms. Carrie,
I sure was glad to see that you did not log out of Pat's account, for I would rather eat a mud pie made by Baby Kate than anything Pat would bake.

Also, if you send the Carriecake with Liz, it has a less than 10% chance of actually making it here. I'm sure I'll hear a story about feeding small children along the route with it or some such.

I'd like some more coffee beans please... :p

Other than that, Santa can bring me a Federal Infantry coat so I won't freeze at W64 while on-guard.

            Patrick,

I'll end the cake by mail, it will be safe from Liz.

With folks wanting coats for Winter'64 you'd think they are expecting cold weather.

You asked. No, it's not Civil War-related. :)

I would like an Atlanta Arsenal CSA belt plate with belt. This would complete my CS leathers. :)

I think at the reenactment of the 145th Battle of Farbsburg there was some guy in the ranks using an iPod... so it's gotta be period!

My wish is for safety and Godspeed for my cousin who departs in early January for his third tour in the desert.

Best also to all of you working for us on the holiday. May you stay safe, quiet and bored.

I really want a Steen 12 pound Napoleon with accompanying limber and six horses, but seeing how I don't expect to see that under the Christmas tree I'll settle for a 1860 Colt Army pistol.
