I am 5' 10". A few years ago I lost a ton of weight and tipped the scales at 140 pounds, making me the weight of the average CW Union soldier (and 1" taller than average).
I was so skinny it looked like I had chronic wasting disease.
I'm 5,6" 105-110 pounds. I wear a 38-40 jacket and 28 trousers. I guess I need to gain some weight to be average?

I'm 6'3", 232 lbs.,48 coat, 41 waist, size 13 shoe. I'm also 56 years old. Been thinking about a Florida Governor impression as none of the above meets criteria for the common soldier.
My son, Sam, however is 5'9", 140 lbs, size 9 1/2 shoe, 38 coat, 30 waist and 19 years old. Can't get any more normal, usual, and generic than that. Maybe that's why he gets all the casting calls...
Im a 5'8" tall and weigh in at 178lbs. I weare a size 42 or 44 jacket depending on the maker and in Infantry pants #4 which fit just right after I fold the cuffs a couple of times :D Part of my problem is because I lift weights at the gym and also eat a bit to much.

Nick:
Does this mean I will not have to wear wristers or mittens with the new frock I just ordered from you? :) Great pics by the way, and man are those sleeves long! The last pic looks like a size 2 man in a size 4 coat.
