Just remembering that 145 years ago today was the start of the battle of Murfreesboro. I'm sure most people that live there don't give the bloody days of Dec. 31st and Jan. 2nd much thought. What a terrible New Years sight there must have been. My GGG-Grandfather was a member of Daniel Donelson's Brigade and was wounded during the attack on the Round Forest.
