I've been struggling for weeks to get the old database (with 3 years of posts) back online. It's a 300mb file and I just found out it's incomplete and therefore I can't use it. Shebangsoft (Mr. Jones) is gone again and I've no idea how to get their attention.
I'm tired of messing with it, enough is enough. We tried and now we're moving on.
We'll be sticking with this forum format, but likely switching servers. Watch for some major changes to this website in the next few days. In some respects we're starting over from scratch but that brings new opportunities.
On the bright side I've learned a lot about PHP in the last few weeks, having had to install/reinstall forum software about a dozen times.
