  • Crotchet Restoration

    Folks,
I received as a Christmas present from my grandmother a hand-crotcheted blanket. It was mde by my great-grandmother's great-grandmother.From family records and birthdates,we believe this to be a blanket from thw 1850s.It is a beautiful white cotton blanket. While having show little signs of use, there are a few, mailing some large gashes in the blanket. My question is to know if there is anyone who can help restore this blanket? They can be one of the many fine seamsters on here,or simply someone who knows what they are doing.I would like to get this repaired simply because of it being a family artifact.
If you have any contact info on people I can go to,please either send me a private message or an e-mail at tenfed1861@yahoo.comThank you.

Mods,if this is the wrong folder, please move it.
