I have an ancestor that died in Camp Morton at the age of 21. He was in the 5th Kentucky Company D. I would like to know if anyone has any information on where he may have been captured? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys.

Jon,
You might consider getting a copy of his Compiled Service Record (CSR) from the National Archives.
Some companies or individuals might retrieve the records for you, sometimes for less cost than NARA will charge you. One such company is Broadfoot Publishing in North Carolina.

You may want to look at the roster at http://www.breathittcountylibrary.co...ng/menofD.html to see if your ancestor is one of the men for whom there are link to biographical material.

I agree with Eric that the best idea is to get a copy of his Compiled Military Service Record (CSMR) from the National Archives. You will need to request NATF Form 86 in order to request the record. Don't expect a lot-- probably be several pages, some of which are copies of national archives record keeping documents rather than copies of historical documents, but it can contain good info.
http://freepages.history.rootsweb.co...campmorton.htm has some good info & links, and your guy is listed among Confederate prisoners who died at Camp Morton & are buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, at http://freepages.history.rootsweb.co..._Hill_RevI.pdf. The list only gives name, unit, & date of death. This list should be helpful to a number of people.
