Quick question about jean material

I asked my wife to wash (without soap) some FHW jean material to pre-shrink it. She then tossed it into the dryer on high. It was not completely dry when I found it.

What should I do with it before I start cutting and sewing. I'm worried that if I make the frock now, later the fabric will loosen up and become baggy. Should I rewash(without soap) it and let it air dry?

Your advice is greatly appreciated.
