    Please vote for the Fairfax House!

    Today's St. Louis Post-Dispatch ran a great article on historic preservation. The author listed a series of endangered buildings and asked readers to vote for their favorite. Granted, this is a totally unscientific poll, but it's a fantastic opportunity to get the word out about the Fairfax House, which has become a pet project for the Star of the West Society. Some of you may recall that we had a recent fund-raiser there. Here's just one photo from the event -- that's the talented Ms. Hyland standing at the back of the house. When I get the rest uploaded I'll post a few more.

        Did so for the Fairfax as well, even though the Lustron was my favorite and would have received my vote.
