Ladies and Gentlemen,
I'm looking for information that may lead me to objects (in museums or private collections) that were used by Major General John Pope during the war. I've looked at the Ohio Historical Society's on-line collections catalog (he died in Sandusky) but they didn't seem to have anything. Since I'm not very familiar with the collections of museums west of the Appalachian Mountains, I thought some of you might have spotted some of his personal affects.
Any help in my quest would be very much appreciated. Feel free to contact me privately at atalkov@vahistorical.org.
Warmest regards,
Andrew H. Talkov
