Thanks Joe. Yes, this is something that all of US can get behind.. no matter who we usually rub shoulders with. Franklin welcomes you!

I completely agree Jon. I'm definitely looking forward to this. This soldier deserves a proper soldier's burial.

Just wondering if there had been any further news on arrangements for this soldier's re-internment, and what participation could be offered for the service.
Thank you...

Just a reminder to the forumers within a decent days drive.. this weekend is the unknown soldier reinternment in Franklin, TN. This is a wonderful opportunity to give honor to the fallen. Franklin will be hosting quite a show. The funerary ceremony starts at 10 AM on Saturday and there will be a procession to the cemetery three city blocks away. Should be 'fun'.. and certainly memorable.

There is a meeting for any interested volunteers on Wed at 5:30 pm at St Paul's Episcopal in Franklin. Sentry duty for me on Friday at the church. Todd Watts and I are going for sure on Saturday for the honor guard, etc. Contact RGHUFF123@aol.com if you are interested in participating.
