  • Ben Stein goes to bat for the Wilderness

Ben Stein weighs in on the Wilderness Wal Mart debate. I know there is a thread, but thought this deserved another. merge away mods, if you need to.

So, here I am at the Ponderay, Idaho Super Wal-Mart. It is beautiful. They've totally redesigned it to be far more wide open, with immense aisles,

Wow! I didn't know that "Famous" people cared about or even knew the importance of our Nations darkest hours. Mr. Stein was able to explain what happened during the Wilderness Campaign on a level that made a compelling argument to save the battlefield. I was impressed.

        Sam,
Glad you enjoyed it. I met Stein once and he is a neat guy. His son goes to my alma mater, a small school in the upstate of SC. Hopefully, this will bring some more attention to the matter.
also, no need for the Mister. we are all just messmates here.
