FYI. Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania NMP (FSNMP) is taking the first steps toward developing a new General Management Plan (GMP). A GMP is designed to articulate the park's vision for the next twenty years. It will address such issues as visitor facilities, park use, physical boundaries, etc. The development of this plan is intended to be a public process, with public comment and involvement encouraged.

As many of us have conducted programs at FSNMP, and still more have a vested interest in protecting and visiting these battlefields and sites, attached is some information about the first of the local public hearings. More information will be posted on the park's website:
