Gentlemen and Ladies,
It is with much happiness that I can tell you that we are actively working out a deal to purchase the 160 acres that surrounds the historic H.P. Bottom's House at Perryville. For those of you who know the park you know this is HUGE!!!!!!! The park staff is working with CWPT and several other entities to try to get this major land acquisition complete. This is the land where the 15th KY fought on. This site also includes the site of the Bottom Barn that burned during the battle. Keep watching and we will start announcing major funding drives to help acquire this land.
On another great note - Phase II of the Museum Project is nearly complete. This year all the reenactment registraiton fees goes directly to the museum restoration. You can also donate to this by contacting the park. The website for Perryville is www.perryvillebattlefield.org
