    The link does not appear to be working.
    It's nice to see their small office is putting some interpretation out there. Obviously CCBF is not interested in the preservation and interpretation of the battlefield after the mining expansion issue.

        Back in the early '90s, I toured Belle Grove at Christmastime. I wore an English cloth frock coat, black trousers, sash, and NCO sword, and my (now ex) wife wore a ball gown. The docents liked having folks in period dress and I was taken up into the attic, where the Yankee signalmen had cut a hole into the roof. The signalmen had another post on Massanutten Mountain, across the Shenandoah Valley. There were a number of soldier's signatures on the underside of the roof. I was told that few folks get to see these.

        Have any of our member's here been up in the attic?
