    Bill,

The person that owns much of the WW1 collection at the relic room has a vast collection of Confederate items in his mothers house. He has uniforms, muskets, rifles, and about everything that you can think of. His father would purchase items from Confederate Veterans in the early 1900's that lived in Orangeburg. Mark Trimmier and myself visited his mothers house and I was surprised by his collection.

Everyone who is interested should take a look at the Membership page of the SC Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum. They certainly could use the funds and they are an excellent resource for us all and the children of South Carolina.

      Claude,
I have visited the gentleman who you spoke of's collection in Orangeburg and it is amazing to say the very least. I certainly hope he will pass it on to the SC Confederate Relic Room at some point. I've never seen so much attributable CW items in my life.
