The National Museum of Civil War Medicine is holding a Cigar and Whiskey tasting at the Pry Barn (2nd Corps field hospital at McClellan's headquarters at Antietam)
Period Rye whiskey from a Virginia distiller and Civil War themed hand rolled premium cigars will be provided along with light fare. All proceeds go to the Museums efforts to preserve and interpret the Pry House and preservation and display of a recently donated mummified arm recovered from the battlefield shortly after the battle. The arm is currently undergoing forensic study at the Smithsonian. The funds will also be used for preservation and display of never before artifacts removed from Clara Barton's Civil War boarding house and office in Washington DC.
