Hi all,
Every year that we have held the Hopewell Furnace event, the funds left over after event expenses have been donated to the Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site. This year, althought the attendance was lower than in years' past, we donated $240. Since 2010, we have raised $1,223 for the Park. I wanted to share that good news with the reenacting community and encourage you all to come out to this wonderful civilian event.
Plans will soon be forming for Hopewell 2013. Stay tuned....http://hopewell.mainecav.org/
