I highly encourage you all to take the time to read this. The NPS has a meeting for the managment of the Chattanooga/Lookput Mtn portion of the NMP. There are three plans for the management/interpretation for the site. I am a huge fan of the plan designated "Alternate C." If you are not familiar with the park, areas such as Geary's and Cruft's crossings were not easily accessible to the public. Now with this plan, especially Alternate C, these places can be placed into an interpretive area like Craven's House and the Och's Monument. Please read this, and give your feedback. Let your voice be heard! Also, for those of us who are hiking enthusiasts, Atlernate C gives some love for expanding the trails and connecting them to other trails that are near by.
