Gang,
As you may know, we were just successful in getting 65 acres of 'core' battlefield donated to the Civil War Trust from Anheuser-Busch a few weeks ago. This is the largest portion of the 68 total acres preserved on the Williamsburg battlefield. We are entering the WBA into several contests to help us raise some money for interpretive signage. The first event runs this week. It's easy to do, takes a few clicks of the mouse. From 9 AM Monday, April 20 to 5 PM Friday, April 24, visit Virginia Peninsula Community Foundation (https://www.facebook.com/pcfvirginia) on Facebook. “Like” the “$500 Comment Contest” image and mention the “Williamsburg Battlefield Association” in the comment section. A $500 check will be awarded to the participating nonprofit with the most mentions by unique users.
Thanks
Drew
