Does anyone know if any of the historic homes or the UDC museum suffered any damage during the floods?

Re: Charleston
"Hey sir,
Houses, minus a few, in Charleston are fine. No major damage was reported to us and we didn't see any on our ride through. Obviously some houses near the rivers and lakes are flooded, but most of the big ones stayed dry. Some of the roads in the historic part are still flooded but most of the houses avoided flood waters. Some homes on South Battery had waters come up to their foundations a little way but from everyone we've seen and talked to, the damage is fairly minimal, considering. The roads are navigable by standard SUV in most parts now. All the kayaks are neat, but you can put a kayak in a puddle and it will float. They don't show a good picture of the water levels in the area. Just something to get on TV.
We're headed to Sullivans Island this afternoon with the SC guys. I'll keep you posted on that, see you Friday."
