Civil War Tours of New Orleans, for the month of February, will take $5.00 off per person from either tour offered, and will match that $5.00 by 100% and donate it to the Monumental Task Committee, the non-for-profit working to clean, protect, and preserve the Confederate monuments in New Orleans. It has been the Monumental Task Committee that has paid the lawyers in the fight to protect the Confederate monuments from being removed by Mayor Mitch Landrieu and his City Council, and the fight is far from over. Any tour booked with Civil War Tours of New Orleans using the promotional code "MTC", will receive $5.00 off per person. Tours can be booked for any available date in 2017, but the tour must be booked by the end of February. Following the conclusion of this promotion, Civil War Tours of New Orleans will donate the amount saved on a tour to the Monumental Task Committee to help them continue the fight. Therefore, if you book a tour for 3 people, you save $15, and Monumental Task Committee will have made $15.

This is no different than 1930s Nazi Germany, this is wrong,we either stop this now or there's no end....I ask our Comrades in Blue stand by us and help us in this horrible campaign...this is truly the time for the Blue and Grey to close ranks and fight with the tenacity of the men and women who we honor...absolutely no monument to combat soldiers should be desecrated,this should be a law...this fight belongs to all of us...the question now is shall we falter or rise to the foe and face the fight....FORWARD BOYS
