  • Additional funds offered for ACPP

In an attempt to increase donations to the ACPP, I will personally increase each donation (minimum $5) received this coming weekend only, June 4 - 6, 2004, by $5, not to exceed $100. (Don't tell my wife:wink_smil )

In other words, if someone donates $5 to the fund, it will be matched 100%. If someone donates $25, their donation will be increased by $5 (unfortunately, for tax purposes, their donation is still officially what their check or receipt says, in this case $25)

In addition, each donation of $25 or higher receives 10% discount off NON-sale items from Chris Daley's shop. (Up to 20 donations)

So, please, give if you can and know that your donation will be added to and you could receive a discount on fine quality goods in the process.

    Have a good weekend.

I will place an smilie (:thumbs_up ) here for every donation received.

    :wink_smil Comrades,
Having just joined the CWPT I urge those who haven't to either join or donate what they can. This is VERY important. We cannot allow anymore damage to be done to our hallowed fields.

Re: Additional funds offered for ACPP

Thanks to the 12 folks who donated to the ACPP this past weekend. Your efforts raised an additional $60 for the effort.

I hope that folks are telling their units of the fund raiser here. This past weekend, my unit had a small living history at a DC fortification which was cancelled early due to weather. While holding a company meeting at my house afterward, the tired, soaking wet membership decided to help my effort by authorizing a $100 donation to the ACPP (this after voting to return the honorarium to the Fort for Saturday's program). I also collected $40 cash for the project. None of these guys are on the forums to see this effort, but wanted to help out anyway.

Please mention this drive to your units and feel free to cut and paste the post announcing the drive to send to your unit members. Getting the word out is key here.

Thanks again to all of those who have seen this as a worthy cause. And check back often for possible added incentives for giving.
