    Update on the ACPP;

    Donations to CVBT are over double that of STFB. Come on, westerners! You gonna let that happen????:wink_smil

    You still have about 7 hours to make a donation (Paypal) or check dated this weekend (6/4 - 6/6) to have an additional $5 added to your donation.

    Let's surpass $1000 this week:clock:

    Doug, you're cut off.....:wink_smil

    Re: West trails East

    Dusty - since I am cut off, how about this:

    I will pay the fee to join the Civil War Preservation Trust at the individual level for the next 3 of us who donate $25 or more to either CVBT or STFB and are not already members of CWPT. That is $35 for each or $105 to get 3 more of us to join the organization that is doing so much to save battlefields and supporting us in our effort to authentically tell the story of what happened there. Keep track Dusty and thanks.

    Wow, Doug, VERY generous. Good news. Curt Schmidt and Kathy Bradford qualify for your offer. If you would contact them to see if it is necessary. More people donating tonight;

    Mike Montgomery

    Thanks - Mike Chapman

      Re: West trails East

      Dusty,

      I returned home to find checks from Doug Cooper (you can try to keep him from giving, but he'll find a way), Chris Curtis, and Garrison Beall for the Confederate housewife, comfort kits, and sleeping cap. A check is on its way to you. If you'd like to include it in your total, please add $70 for Franklin and $60 for Chancellorsville.

      Dusty, thank you for your generosity and for setting up the matching money for the weekend.

      Doug, you continue to inspire a very high standard of excellence.

      Anyone else feeling inspired to help?

      Respectfully,

          Dusty - looks like the 3 are Mike Radinsky, Kathy Bradford and Mike Montgomery? Will contact them and find out.

            Doug,

            Those are the first three to donate after your great offer. Let me know if they are already members and you need additional names.

            Thanks

              Hallo Kameraden!

              Thanks for such a kind offer, but I am a member.

              (If the offer still stands, I would rather see it go directly to preservation or to get someone else "on board.")

              But thanks for the kind thought as well as the offer!!!

                West trails East, again

                Folks,

                Donations continue to come in about 2-3 a week. Thank you.

                Just an update, the STFB trails CVBT by nearly $500 as of June 15, 2004.

                With your help, we have raised over $1,300.00 in just 20 DAYS!!!!

                We have three new members of the CWPT.

                We have 10 people getting 10% discounts at Chris Daley's shop (ten more available).

                We have two people with new head gear.

                We have three people with some handmade necessaries.

                Please look for future incentives to give to the ACPP in the coming months. Generous people are helping out in many ways.

                Re-enactors can make a difference, $5 at a time......
