  • Some words of thanks.....

I would just like to thank everyone who reads and contributes to the Preservation folder. I feel it is quickly becoming a primary source of information regarding CW preservation, at least online. What I really am excited about is the apparent increase in preservation postings from folks around the country who are reading their local papers and news broadcasts and posting preservation news here for all of us to see. Public awareness and opinions are the life blood of preservation efforts.

I also want to thank everyone who have supported the ACPP in its infancy. I hope we can continue to raise money for worthy causes and help to make a difference in battlefield acquisitions and artifact restoration. Both the people who have donated money and/or goods to the ACPP deserve a pat on the back and a "well done".

Finally, I hope the folder continues to grow and I want to thank Paul Calloway and others who enable me to use this forum to try to put preservation at the forefront of reenacting.

    Hallo Kamerad!

    Thanks for YOUR preservation efforts...

I believe, in this case, that both Northerners and Southerners would agree with Abraham Lincoln, when he said:

      Yes!

It's been so encouraging to see the increasing number of views in the Preservation folder. The wide range of topics and sites make it consistently interesting and challenging. Thank you to all who bring the issues and articles to light and to all who visibly and invisibly continue to give time, resources, and encouragement to preservation projects.

Thank you, Dusty, for your constant and creative vigilance with Preservation. Thank you, Paul, for providing such a great platform. Thank you too, to "you know who you are".
