Pards, I went to the V-Dot scoping meeting at Turner Ashby High School yesterday. We went out in force to let V-DOT that putting a loop road or connector road in the area would be deterimental. There were several maps with nice phrases like "study area". I pointed out that the sudy area goes from I81, rt33 to Port Republic and right through Cross Keys Battlefield. The rep seemed kind of put off that I pointed that out in front of several residents. The CWPT, SVBF and a residential preservation organization gave their two cents.
