As my unit is preparing to deploy, the CFC Campaign NCO hit us up for donantions! I found The Civil War Preservation Trust is on the list under Preservation Agencies; #2332 I beleive. I talked it up with in my unit to try to get some more donations. I managed to get a couple of more guys to donate. It's better than most organizations that are listed in CFC. If you have to give, CWPT is a great Organization to give to!

For those living in the Northern Virginia area, you will also find the Central Virginia Battlefields Trust (CVBT) on your list. Both the CVBT and CWPT are worthy recipients of CFC donations.

Re: It's CFC time again...CWPT is on the list
To the Moderator who moved this thread, I understand why you moved this from Modern Day Servicemen to the preservation thread. I think it is much more appropriate there(Modern Day Servicemen) for these reason:
1. The CFC donation campaigns are sponsored by the Federal Gov't. All DoD and DOT(Coasties) and Federal employees do it every year. I wanted this to go out on the modern day service members so they know that CWPT is in CFC Campaign.
2. This is a shameless bump to keep it on the front page.
3. Does anybody really read the preservation threads. I do ocasionally but not that often.
