Folks,
All I can say is that I'm overwhelmed with the support everyone has shown. The Relic Room should be releasing another document here soon so stay tuned. Likewise, I'll continue to post odds and ends for discussion. Lastly, there should be several other items up for sale and/or auction soon. Once again, many thanks for everyone's support of this huge project.
This is such an important enterprise that maximum support is required hence my bid of $200. Please keep them coming and beat me!!!
With thanks for the initiative,
Patrick Reardon,

Since the Kind and Generous Mr. Reardon lives across the ocean, it occured to both Mrs. Bradford and I that mailing such a wondrous thing as this housewife such a great distance might prove disasterous.
After some discussion and arranging, Mrs. Bradford's Lovely and Generous work arrived at my home today, to be hand delivered to Mr. Reardon at Banks Grand Retreat.
I live in an old neighborhood, with narrow lots and pre-war homes. My neighbors are accustomed to unusual packages landing on my wide porch, and we often sign for each other's mail. So, as usual, I had an audience when I opened the package.
Its caused quite a stir around here. Elderly ladies have come to the door all afternoon, ringing the bell, wanting to see the embrodiery. And, tomorrow I'm told I'll need to take it by one home in particular--that of a member of a local UDC chapter, one of two "True Daughters" in that chapter.
Quite a grand piece of work. I'm glad I get to pet it for a week.

Yassir, I used to be Mrs. Lawson. I still run period dyepots, knit stuff, and cause trouble.

There should be a few more items up for auction too with Paul's permission. Mr. Chinnis has worked up two of those great "double-barrel" SC haversacks folks like so much. For those that have never seen these, they are wonderful and faithful reproductions of the original Yancey Dean haversack held at the SC State Museum in Columbia. Dean was killed during the Seven Days wearing this haversack. The original is a true double bag, cotton drill bag. Stay tuned.
Most importantly, thanks to Ms. Bradford for offering this great housewife and thanks for Patrick purchasing it! Thanks for keeping it safe too!
