Gentlemen,
I am helping in the preservation fund raising for a couple of forts in SE MO. Instead of rehashing what Frank Aufmuth has posted on the subject I will provide a link to his web page that describes the forts we (all of us collectively who care about preservation) are trying to help.
For the raffle itself, what is it, how much...
I will raffle off 1 Federal kit that consists of A) Museum grade fatigue blouse B) JT Martin trousers C) Contract issue shirt provided by W&W, an approved vendor on this site.
Each ticket will be $5. You may buy as many as you like. There will be a max number of 300 tickets. I want to set the number of tickets so there is an attainable goal and the person donating feels they have a chance of winning. I hope there is plenty of interest in this, where else can you get an approved vendor federal kit for $5. With the recent posts dealing with the high costs of kit, this should be an option for someone to get that federal kit you have wanted to purchase, but just didn't have the $$$ saved.
Even if you already have your Fed kit, hey, who says you only need one!! For those fellows who only go Johnny this gives you the option to attend LH events that are Federal only.

Thanks for your interest, remember these forts get next to nothing/or no funding for preservation. Your help is needed.
