Aye, Brother Danny, this is a good cause.

Now where be the rest of our Order, those who have sworn to keep evergreen the memory of the original Boys in Blue? You've undoubtedly noticed several other Brothers contributing to this raffle already -- let's keep the ball rolling. At the risk of decreasing my chances to win, I'm encouraging everyone to get behind this effort!

        Ever forward,
        Paul Hadley
P.S. -- hope to see you in St Louis next week.

Re: Preservation Raffle for Misssouri Forts

                    Hi All,

I just want to send out an up-dare on how the raffle is proceding. I have had requests for 57 tickets so far. Out of that number money for 24 tickets has arrived but I know those that wanted tickets have their donations on the way! Some are coming from as far away as Iraq by way of our troops on the front line. THANKS FOR BEING OUT THERE AND SERVING OUR GREAT COUNTRY.

Here is how the process works: When I get your tickets, I put your name on the tickets I print (If I print them instead of buy them it save money for preservation). I put them in a box until drawing day. I then put the tickets in a drum, turn them to mix them, and have a person draw them that has nothing to do with the fundraiser. I do not buy any tickets, so there is no way I can win. (WISH I COULD THOUGH, A FEDERAL KIT FROM W&W FOR ONLY $5 A CHANCE!!!!!!!).

I will draw the winner on 10/31/07 UNLESS all tickets are sold and the funds for those tickets are recieved by me. If the tickets sell out early then the drawing will be sooner. There will only be 300 sold, period. No more than that.

Thanks for your participation if you have played, if you are waiting for the right time to jump in....mmmm don't wait too late!

Hey Karl & Kris, paying at OWW is good. See you both soon. Karl, that is very generous.
How would the addition of 10 arsenal packs to the winner be? Or would you want to see that as a second prize? Karl, what do you think? Pards, any thoughts on this?

                                Robert,

My feeling would be to offer the arsenal packs as a second prize.Kind of "spread it around" so to speak.
