  • Quick Action Needed on Battlefield

I would like to ask everyone to take a couple of minutes and fill out an online survey for the town of Morrisville here in North Carolina. For about ten years we have been trying to convince the town to purchase and save part of the April 1865 battlefield here and we are close. We have got the issue on the agenda but just need a last full measure to get it approved.

The town is taking input on prospective projects to spend their money on - the battlefield park is in the running but we have to beat out stoplights, cultural centers, and nature parks. Visit our website on the battle:

and then take a minute to fill out this survey:

It is the easiest way to help save our endangered battlefield.

Other survey things we like is the rebuilding of the 1850s train depot and the formation of a town hall library for the archives.

THE SURVEY CLOSES ON NOVEMBER 30.

    Thanks,
