Re: I got through to the Perryville City Council - did you?

It seems to have slowed down the last couple days. I know it's the weekend and no one is probably there to take phone calls, but the voting on this issue is in just a few short days. Those of you who haven't called yet, pencil it in your schedule for Monday. It really only takes a minute of your time, and what reason would you have not to contribute in such a small way?

We started off strong, let's make sure that Perryville City Council is swamped with calls before Thursday April 3rd!

Just wanted to bump this thread. The City Council Meeting is on Thursday. If you haven't called or e-mailed yet, please help the cause. Let's give them one big push before the council meeting!

Left voice mail expressing my opposition at 2:PM on 3/25. Hope they count them all.

I held off until today (April 1) to call. Called about 2:30 and got through with no problem. I got right to the point: stated my name, where I was from and told her why I was opposed to the proposed development. I kept it as brief as possible and then thanked her for the opportunity to voice my concerns. No questions were asked.

After many attempts, I finally got through! I hope the delay doesn't discourage anyone.

All posts of a debate nature have been moved to their own thread.

Just getting around to responding here...Because of working days I had to leave a message, but called back & got a live person the first try. She said there were too many messages & calls (a good sign) to confirm while I was on the phone whether or not my message had been logged, but she documented the live call & said she compare & make sure I was included, so those that have left messages can be assured they will be counted too.
