When I removed my hat bingo, just the look I wanted flips, curls and all!
    Yup, thats exactly right.

    Sweet image, dude.

Image #2 is incredible. My hat is off to folks that really put some serious thought into getting an image made. Maybe AC could do an "image of the year" with all the year's winners having a shot. Great stuff guys. ~Gary

        H@(% S#!+!!!!!!

#2 is by far the best. The others are good, but this is the first time I looked at a Civilian image and was just like WHAT!!!!????!!!!

Great job Ian! Your hard work and research really shows in this image. If I didn't know better, I'd swear you scanned a photo from Silver & Gold. :wink_smil

Number one's attention to poses versus the original that is its inspiration is nice, however number two definitely takes the prize.

What was the occasion for the photo of the 93rd NY? Most of the corporals' stripes seem to be just tacked on, so I wonder if this s a photo of the brass with their newly appointed NCOs?

All are very nice. It is always good to see hard work to get it right.

Having studied civilian photos more and more, I feel that Ian and Chandra have nailed it.
Very well done. Fashion and hairstyle correctness for the date and period.
                      Bravo.

Kudos to all who entered these excellent pictures. All are extremely well done, and I really enjoyed reading about the background, or inspiration for your poses.

It was a tough call on my part, and I'll not reveal who I voted for. All three could have won.

Wow, all of these were great. I don't think I have ever had this much of trouble voting on one of these. I had to go with the first one though. The impressions as well as the geographics of the photo were wonderful. That one is hard to tell from an original. But hats off to all, as they were all 3 wonderful

Congratulations to Ian and Chandra McWherter for their fantastic citizen image. We have had some excellent citizen representations the last two months in a row. As always, thanks to all who submitted. I should have the cover up in the next day or so. I will also be adding the last three images to our growing archive and will provide the link again when that is done.
