      Eric,
I vote for image number 3. All the images are great, but #3 really looks like an image taken in the 1860s. The age of the soldiers, their dress, the weapons they are carrying, and even the slightly blurry image look dead on.

Any other month it would have been #1, a really good image, #3 just blows me away. Definately makes you think Chitwood Brothers. I love that knife in the middle. I hope thats not what the Georgia militia looks like in November.

Great images this month, all three were great, but vote has to go to #3.

All good images, but #3 was my choice. It's detail and the look they have is outstanding! Really great!

Number three, had I seen the picture in a book, would have thought it was an original.

I voted for #3. Great impressions, and I like the "mess portrait" sort of thing instead of the big gathering of guys in full uniform.

Good to see some live rebels instead of the "dead" ones currently on the front page.

Although they did a nice job, I am over seeing bowie knives and pistols. I think #1 looks better and would be nice to see some pre-dead Yanks on the cover!! Nice job to all three sumbissions!

Thank you for the compliments! I am seated right in the picture, and I sure enjoyed growing my hair and beard out for six months to get a period look. I attached the original image we based the picture off of.

                        Thank you,

Then I saw Image #2 and I said "WOW WEE! I'm defiantly voting for this

When I opened the third one I thought "Holy c*&p this looks like the real thing!"
