Based upon the feedback given on a couple of other threads - we've activated a tool that keeps track of infractions for posters.
Spamming Advertisements
Insulting Other Members
Signature Rule Violation
Non Approved Vendor Advertising
Inappropriate Language
Espousing Farbism
For violating any of those principles, mods and admins can assign an infraction. You'll get notification of such. It's 10 points for each infraction - currently set to expire after 10 days.
If 40 points are reached in any 10 day time period, you get a "temporary time out" of 3 days.
I'm sure we'll tweak this system as time moves along but it gives mods a more objective way of dealing with a fairly subjective task. And it's something you the membership asked for so I hope you like it. ;)
