i ordered a scabbard a few weeks ago,he responded to emails promptly with updates of when to expect it.

This question pops up here every so often. I have no knowledge of anything specific at MBS at this moment, but as a long time customer of Bob's, I can tell you that he doesn't answer his email often nor does he answer the phone regularly. These interruptions detract from his being able to crank out the goods.

I just received an order from them today. I needed to add to the order last week and I had good communication via e-mail. Maybe try the other e-mail that is listed on the site then what you are using.

I have always found Bob Serio to be a great guy to talk with, and yes, there are times it is hard to get in touch with him. When he doesn't pick up the phone or answer e-mails promptly I believe he is probably doing something which would require a start to finish process without a break, or he is cranking out the goods. If you are worried that he may not be a reputable vendor, I, as well as many others here can assure you he is top shelf.

Talked to him yesterday and he stated that he had about 25prs of boots cut out and was just beginning to sew them so he's pretty busy.. Great product and good vendor.

I spoke to Elizebeth this past week. She said let the phone ring due to the fact that they are usually working on orders and it takes a bit to remove equimpment to answer the phone. She also said that they were about to start a run of Issac and Campbell knap sacks.
