I'd like to replace my knapsack with one of Bob Serio's... I'm thinking of getting an Enfield from Zimmerman.

Did the ultimate upgrade and had lasik done last year.

Then there's always starting in on my western CSA impression down the road...

My wife makes most of my uniforms. She is making me new trousers for both federal and confederate.
Im saving up for some good quality leathers. MIssouri Boot and Shoe comes to mind. Also mt brograns have been repaired twice and just about had it. By this fall Im sure ill be seeking a new pair.

Gotta get me a good civilian shirt, and replace these Skinner Row brogans with a pair from Mattimore or MB&S. Far as the hat goes, I like my kepi and it looks good, but in the summertime I come home from events with ears that look like they've been microwaved. Wasn't there some author who talked about kepis 'hanging from the trees like strange fruit' in the wake of the AOT? Don't blame 'em sometimes. :(

Re: What are you in the market for?

I have a lot of stuff, and I am always on the lookout for an item to upgrade to, I would like to get a good Frock coat to replace my Jarnigan, but I find that I don't use the frock much at all so I am not sure if I will replace it or not, but I do keep a list of everything I have and the maker and replacement value for insurance reasons, I don't take everything with me to events but I have enough stuff that I can pretty much meet any Federal equipment guidelines,

I need to purchase a Federal doublebag, eventually an Issac and Cambell knapsack, and always patterns, patterns, patterns. After the Mansfield march, I will most likely have to replace my brogans as well. :D

I would like (they aren't really necessities, I suppose):

A "nicer" wool coat and a wool petticoat.

If I don't make myself a new uniform this year, my pards are going to throw the old one on the campfire...with me still in it. A greatcoat or talma for bad weather, and a good knife.
