New memberships by approval

All new memberships will now be by approval only. You can create your accounts and post, but they won't hit the forums unless the AC mods approve.

This, another necessary step, in the long battle to tell Trolls to piss off.

If for some reason your account is refused, don't get mad. Something in your application has set off some flags in our approval processs. That process is there to protect all of us. Please email Scott McKay at smckay1234@aol.com and I'm sure he'll be more then willing to help you iron out issues that might be causing your account application to be declined.

In all likelihood those issues will be:

• An account-name that is offensive or disconcerting.
• An email address that suggests the same.
• A first/last name that seems questionable, (ex. Rudyard Kipling)
• An IP address that matches known offenders (ex. Old Dominion University)
• A location that seems questionable, (ex. "this side of hell")
• multiple accounts under the same name or email address.
